Effective August 30, 2026
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Personal Calendar Assistant accesses and uses Google Calendar data for its sole user.
1. Application and operator
Personal Calendar Assistant is a private, single-user application operated by the owner of grossboard.com. It is used only for the operator’s own calendar and is not offered as a public or commercial service.
2. Google data accessed
The application requests Google Calendar authorization. Depending on the owner’s request, it may access calendar metadata and event information such as titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, attendees, and event identifiers. It may create, update, or delete events only when instructed by the owner.
The application does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Docs, or Google Sheets.
3. How data is used
Google Calendar data is used solely to provide personal-assistant functions requested by the owner, including displaying schedules, identifying conflicts, preparing reminders, and managing calendar events.
Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or training public machine-learning models.
4. Storage and retention
OAuth credentials and tokens are stored on a private server protected by operating-system access controls. Event details may appear in private local session history or operational logs when necessary to fulfil a request. Data is retained only for personal operation, troubleshooting, and continuity, and can be deleted by the owner.
5. Sharing and disclosure
Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers. It is not disclosed to third parties except when required by law or when technically necessary for Google Calendar API operation and the infrastructure used by the owner.
6. Security
Access is restricted to the owner. Credentials are stored with restrictive file permissions, connections to this site use HTTPS, and the application requests only the Google service needed for its purpose. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. User control and deletion
The owner can revoke access at any time from Google Account permissions. The owner can also request deletion of locally stored tokens, logs, or calendar-related records directly through the private assistant interface.
8. Google API Services User Data Policy
Personal Calendar Assistant’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
9. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when application functionality or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Privacy questions can be sent to the application support contact listed on its Google OAuth consent screen.
